NFL analyst warns Bills quarterback Josh Allen of “more pressure” in the playoffs
While Josh Allen will become a father for the first time later this year, the Bills quarterback is eyeing his first Super Bowl as Buffalo is headed for the postseason for a seventh consecutive season.
However, Allen is nursing a foot injury heading into the final game of the regular season on the weekend against the Jets. While Allen’s status for the game remains uncertain, NFL analyst Ryan Clark said the Bills quarterback will be under immense pressure in the playoffs.
“There is no quarterback in the entire NFL that will have more pressure on them heading into playoffs than Josh Allen,” Clark said. “Your nemesis, Patrick Mahomes, won’t be there. Joe Burrow, who has beaten you in Buffalo, will not be there. It’s a possibility Lamar Jackson won’t be there, and even if he’s there, he’s going to be hindered or hampered. You are the guy now.”
The reigning NFL MVP has not had the greatest season by his high standards and he will be looking to redeem himself by leading the Bills to the elusive Super Bowl win.
