Houston Texans To Celebrate twenty fifth Season In 2026 With Commemorative Logo – Sports activitiesLogos.Net News

The Houston Texans will celebrate their 25th season this fall with a commemorative logo, which will presumably be worn as a patch on their navy blue home and white road uniforms, as well as their “Battle Red” and “H-Town Blue” alternate threads.

The logo pulls inspiration from the “Battle Red” alternate uniforms, specifically, with a navy blue No. 25 that is outlined in white and overlays a red state outline. The numbers, which are rendered in their current font, even incorporate perforation holes like their jerseys.

Houston’s primary logo sits at the base of the commemorative mark, along with a white ribbon that displays “EST. 2002” and “25 SEASONS.” The slanted star/steer eye – which also appears on their secondary logo – notes the city’s location within the state, as well.

The Texans previously wore a jersey patch for their inaugural season in 2002 and their 10th anniversary in 2012. It’s notable that they’ve decided to celebrate their 25th season this time around, since their 25th anniversary would actually fall in 2027.

Perhaps that’s a hint that the Texans’ “Rivalries” uniforms – which will debut this season – could feature a white helmet, as Monday’s promotional video opened with the white helmet that late founder Bob McNair used to unveil their logo in 2001.

Houston ultimately switched to a navy blue helmet with its original uniforms, then introduced a red alternate lid in 2022. The Texans also added a second navy blue helmet with subtle red flakes in 2024 to max out the number of helmets a team not participating in the “Rivalries” program can wear in a season.
