The British-owned bulk service Rubymar was hit by Houthi rebels within the Pink Sea on Saturday.

The Rubymar has now sunk after it was hit by anti-ship missile 2 weeks in the past.

The Rubymar cargo ship, attacked final month, has sunk within the southern Pink Sea, Yemen’s internationally recognised authorities stated in an announcement on Saturday.

If verified, it will be the primary vessel misplaced since Houthi militants started focusing on business transport in November.

The federal government assertion stated the ship sunk on Friday night time and warned of an “environmental catastrophe”.
