Farever, Shiro Games’ latest work in progress MMO, has a few ways players can stack lots of Gold in pretty short order. A charming MMO that is still in Early Access, methods of making money could certainly change between now, and the game’s inevitable full launch later down the road. However, in our time playing the game, we’ve figured out a few pretty simple ways to make Gold.
One of these methods kills two birds with one stone, in that it can also help you increase the size of your inventory pretty early on, but it can also be used to make Gold in Farever. It’s really up to you. Here’s what we recommend in these early hours of the game’s lifetime.
Tips to make Gold quickly in Farever
It can be costly to unlock Professions in Farever, so why not have a few ways to make some quick Gold? While I’ve personally made plenty of Gold just by exploring, opening treasure chests, and playing the game, there are one or two pretty direct ways to pick up some extra spending money, should you have the need for it.

The first method is by simply going to the Guild Merchant in any town, and selling excess Copper Ore. It’s abundant, easy to find, and sells for a decent amount (3 Gold a piece). With a stack of around 100 Copper Ore, you can make 300+ Gold. By clearing the early-game dungeon Mine Estrone, you will find quite a few large Copper Ore nodes. You don’t even have to train a skill for it! Just show up and mine away!
Other ores can also be valuable to sell, as well as junk items you have no intention of using. The other method is just a little time consuming, but we think it’s worth it if you’re trying to max out your inventory, or if you simply want some extra money. Small Pouches sell for 250g, and also serve as inventory expansions.

What you do is this: Roll a new character, defeat a crab, and loot its claw. Then you take the Claw to the first NPC with a quest and you will be rewarded with 50 Gold and a Small Pouch.
It’s worth noting it might take a few kills to get the Fleshy Claw to drop, so just be patient. Then, run up the hill to the Guild Merchant, and store the Bag in your Bank. Sadly, it doesn’t appear that you can transfer the Gold at this time.
Rinse and repeat this a few times and you’ll have plenty of starting Gold for your Farever adventures, or you can keep doing it, to get several Small Pouches so you start the game with plenty of inventory space. Since all classes inevitably need more inventory space, no matter what reason you have for doing this, it’s a worthwhile, but moderately time-consuming endeavor.
