Every weapon in How to Fish comes with its own skin, in addition to being useful for hunting. However, each skin for a weapon must be earned in a specific way and then equipped to feed into the aesthetic side of the game. Weapons such as the Uzi, Sniper Rifle, Pistol, and even the Knife can be dressed with cosmetics to change their appearance.
It should be noted that, similar to many games, skins in this game only cater to the appearance side of things and don’t increase the power of the gear.
This article guides you to unlocking weapon skins in How to Fish.
How to Fish: Unlocking weapon skins
Weapon skins can be obtained from the Reel of Fortune Gacha machine located on every island. The reward upon hitting a slot in the machine leads to a skin for a weapon or other equipment in the game. However, there is also a chance to hit a triple jackpot, which can lead to a Legendary weapon skin as well.

To enter the Reel of Fortune, you will need to own a special rare rainbow fish, otherwise known as a Drip Creature. These creatures can be caught normally, as you would catch any other fish in the game. The only difference is that you will need some luck to get it from the water.
Once you have a Drip Creature, head to a Reel of Fortune, enter the Drip Creature to roll on the Gacha, and you will be rewarded with a skin, possibly a weapon skin as well. If you’re extra lucky, there’s a Legendary weapon skin waiting for you as well.
Drip Creature:

A Drip Creature can be identified by the rainbow text on the prompt that says “Creature Caught” when you’re casting a reel on the water. To differentiate, a normal fish will have white text, and a Drip Creature will have rainbow text.
