A popular star quit WWE tryouts after a health scare left her worried. The Stamford-based promotion held tryouts at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, this week to recruit the next batch of superstars.
While it’s a dream for many athletes to sign with WWE, one name didn’t have the most desirable experience. The name is none other than social media influencer Sallie Grace.
Thanks for the submission!
Grace is an online lifestyle content creator and fitness influencer. She decided to try her hand at wrestling during the recent tryouts but decided to quit midway after suffering a concussion.
She uploaded a video on Instagram, where she talked about her bitter experience during the tryouts. She said while she has fallen on concrete and is a gymnast, the wrestling drills left her in a miserable state, as she was hurt in the head.

“I was a gymnast my whole life, like, I have taken slams. But I had to stop running bump sessions because I knew something wasn’t right with my brain. You fall on your back, and they kept telling me to do it harder and harder,” she said.
Grace said that she reached her breaking point and decided to approach one of the coaches and tell them why she cannot continue.
“I went up to the coach. It took a lot of nerve. I went in front of everyone, shook his hand, and I said, ‘With all due respect, I’ve got a lot of stuff going on, and I can’t ruin my brain. I know something isn’t right.’ So I had to take the L on that one and step out to protect my noggin…I’m obviously facing repercussions right now,” she said.
Grace also claimed that other participants had suffered concussions as well, and they were told there were going to be more such drills.
Sallie Grace revealed how she suffered a concussion during WWE tryout
A day ago, Sallie Grace uploaded a video on Instagram detailing how she was injured during the third day of the WWE tryouts.
She said during a pretend swimming improv, she got hit in the head after someone swung the metal ropes hard and it hit the back of her head. The next day when she went to the WWE Performance Center, she had a headache and felt her brain sloshing around.
Grace decided to get tested and came to know she had suffered a concussion. She also got emotional in the video as she struggled to keep her thoughts straight and admitted she forgot who she talked to in the day.
