Andrade recently returned to All Elite Wrestling and has immediately set his sights on the Men’s AEW World Championship. A top star in the company recently mocked the Mexican star for his split with WWE star Charlotte Flair. The star is nken other than the Men’s World Champion MJF. The former United States Champion has now fired back at Maxwell.
El Idolo made his return to All Elite Wrestling a few weeks ago on Dynamite as a member of the Don Callis Family. Since then, he has been clear that he wants to win the company’s top prize. On X, MJF fired some shots saying that the Mexican star must be talking about a different AEW World Championship.
Andrade replied back saying that he will beat MJF and take his title so he can go for a honeymoon with his wife. The Salt of the Earth replied to this tweet asking the newly signed AEW star if he is sure about bringing up marriage. He was referring to his challenger’s failed marriage with Charlotte Flair.
The former NXT Champion was furious at this comment and warned MJF that he will see him backstage.
“I was expecting a great shot! , You don’t have huevos to say that to my face! ; I’ll see you backstage and I will ask you!” He wrote.
It will be interesting to see where this feud goes in the future.
Andrade will face Swerve Strickland on AEW Dynamite
After Andrade made it clear that he wants to win the AEW World Championship, he joined a list of many challengers eyeing MJF’s gold. Ever since he won the title at the World’s End pay-per-view in December, Friedman has been surrounded by challengers.
Along with El Idolo, Swerve Strickland is also chasing the AEW World Championship. Since both of them want a shot at gold, a match between them was made official for the upcoming edition of Dynamite.
It will be interesting to see who will emerge victorious among the two former NXT stars.
