An adolescent in Indiana was informed by his highschool to take away the American flag from his truck. He refused, citing the varsity’s rule guide, which doesn’t prohibit such exercise.

After he refused to take away the flag, different college students on the faculty connected American flags to their automobiles.

The college correctly selected to again down on the problem. The story has since gone viral.

East Central Excessive Faculty senior Cameron Blasek, a pupil in Indiana, is talking out after he mentioned he was informed to take away his American flag from his truck.

“The flag itself represents this country, this beautiful country that we live in,” Blasek mentioned in an interview with WCPO. “It also represents the people who fought their lives for it. And I think that’s a really hard thing to talk about, but I think it’s a big thing.”

Blasek mentioned that he was informed by his counselor and vice principal to take away the American flag from his truck, which he refused to do.

“I said, ‘no, that’s not going to happen. I can’t,’” Blasek mentioned…

Blasek mentioned that he learn by way of his faculty handbook and decided that there have been no guidelines stopping him from displaying a flag on his car.

“I read through the Essentials 2023-2024 Handbook, and the word ‘flag’ wasn’t even mentioned in the parking lot or driving section. The only section it’s mentioned in is the flag-twirling section,” he defined.

Others got here displaying American flags on their automobiles quickly after that.
