An Indiana Nationwide Guard member reportedly shot an unlawful immigrant who stabbed one other illegal immigrant on the U.S.-Mexico border.

In accordance with an inner Border Patrol bulletin obtained by News Nation, a member of the Indiana Nationwide Guard discharged his weapon at an unlawful alien, stabbing one other unlawful immigrant on U.S. soil close to the sting of the Rio Grande River.

The Nationwide Guard’s Media Division  responded to the taking pictures by releasing an announcement that reads, “The Indiana National Guard is aware of the incident that happened Sunday, April 14.”

“We support and care for our soldiers and airmen supporting Operation Lone Star.” added the Nationwide Guard.

At first of April, Indiana despatched guard members to the southern border to help Governor Greg Abbot’s Operation Lonestar, which goals to “enforce federal and state laws preventing migration along the border.”

The incident is under investigation. More information will be made available as the investigation progresses.”
