Major League Soccer side Inter Miami is hoping to draw strength from its new away kit for the 2025 season, made by Adidas.
Inter Miami became the first MLS club to release a new kit for 2025 when they unveiled the new kits on their website and social media channels on Thursday, December 12.
The new “Fortitude Kit” keeps up Inter Miami’s recent tradition of a predominantly black away kit, though this time around, the front of the shirt is split between black and dark grey. Those colours are meant to represent granite, “a natural symbol of strength and resilience,” according to the club’s news release. “These shades show confidence and determination, reflecting the mindset it takes to overcome challenges and come out stronger.”
The Fortitude Kit is about perseverance. It’s more than just a jersey – it’s a reminder that success, whether on the field or off it, comes from staying strong and working together. It’s a symbol of armor that players wear with pride and fans rally behind, showing the shared strength and unity that defines Inter Miami CF.
Inter Miami also says in its announcement that the new away kits are a tribute to the city of Fort Lauderdale, “a city that has become a fortress for Inter Miami CF and the stage for some of the Club’s most significant milestones,” including winning the Supporters’ Shield in 2024 and setting the record for most points in a regular season. The club will move to Miami Freedom Park in Miami in 2026.
The sponsor logos on the chest and sleeves are pink, and the Inter Miami crest on the chest is rendered in one-color pink on a black background. The left sleeve of the jersey is dark grey, contrasting with the black on that half of the front of the shirt, while the right sleeves is black. The Adidas shoulder stripes on each sleeve also contrast with the sleeve colour.
The back of the kit is solid black, with one-color pink names and numbers set in MLS’s standard fonts.
New this year, to celebrate the 30th season of MLS, the Apple TV logo on the left sleeve will have a bespoke design for every club instead of being a single solid colour. “Each of the 30 refreshed patches draw inspiration from each club’s distinctive crest, color palette, and visual identity,” Inter Miami’s news release reads. The MLS logo will continue to appear above the Apple TV logo on the left sleeve in club colours — in Inter Miami’s case, black and pink.
Inter Miami’s new away kits are available for purchase at the team’s official store at Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale and on MLSStore.com. They’ll also soon be available to buy on Royal Caribbean cruise ships, as the company is Inter Miami’s main partner and front-of-shirt sponsor.
