Evanescia’s signature Light Cone, Until the Flowers Bloom Again, can be acquired from its respective gacha banner in Honkai Star Rail 4.2. Unlike the character, LC requires fewer Stellar Jades to obtain, given that you get it on the first try. Since we are talking about at least 60 pulls, many might wonder if Until the Flowers Bloom Again is worth it or not.
Evanescia’s signature Light Cone is a solid piece of gear that you can pull in Honkai Star Rail 4.2. Here’s why.

Reasons why you should pull Evanescia’s signature Light Cone in Honkai Star Rail 4.2, explored

First, let’s take a look at the effects of Until the Flowers Bloom Again in Honkai Star Rail 4.2:
- Daydream: Increases the wearer’s CRIT DMG by 60% and Energy Regeneration Rate by 10%. When the wearer’s Max Energy is greater than 120, for every 10 points of Max Energy that exceeds this amount, further increases Energy Regeneration Rate by 0.3%. Up to a maximum of 360 points of excess Max Energy can be taken into account. When the wearer uses Elation Skill, increases the DMG all enemies take by 15% for 2 turns. Effects of the same type cannot stack.
As you can see, Until Flowers Bloom Again grants Evanescia a passive 60% CRIT DMG boost while also increasing her overall Energy Regeneration Rate based on the amount of Energy she has. Furthermore, all enemies will take more damage when the wearer uses their Elation Skill. Since Evanescia requires CRIT stats and Energy to deal damage, her signature Light Cone is a solid choice.
In the current version, there aren’t many LC alternatives for Evanescia, leading to most players utilizing the free-to-play LC, Mushy Shroomy’s Adventures. Although it’s a good option, other Elation characters also need the item (if you didn’t pull for their signature).
Compared to other Light Cone options, Evanescia performs the best when using Until the Flower Blooms Again. However, the damage difference between her signature and the abovementioned 4-star is not that game-changing. Hence, if you have enough Stellar Jade/pulls, then you can pull the 5-star Light Cone. Keep in mind that it’s not a priority, but a QoL for better rotation and a substantial damage increase.
