A popular WWE Superstar dropped a massive tease heading into Monday Night RAW. The show airs live from the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas, in a few hours.

Earlier today, former WWE Intercontinental Champion Penta and former NXT Champion Joe Hendry spoke in an interview with SA Live. When asked what the fans should expect on the upcoming edition of the red brand’s show, the luchador disclosed that he had a massive surprise for everyone. However, he did not share any details.

“They can expect amazing night. They can expect amazing show. And I have a big surprise from everyone tonight,” Penta said.

Last week on Monday Night RAW, Penta challenged Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship. He pushed the OTC to the limit but failed to cross the line. There have since been a lot of speculations about what’s next for the 41-year-old Mexican star.

Earlier today, the Stamford-based promotion released new merchandise for The Lucha Bros, the tag team of Penta and his brother Rey Fenix, suggesting that a reunion could be around the corner. Although there hasn’t been any official announcement, the reunion of The Lucha Bros could very well be the surprise Penta referred to in the interview.

Penta received massive praise from a popular WWE Superstar following his match against Roman Reigns

While speaking on Busted Open Radio, former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Nattie shared her honest opinion about the World Heavyweight Championship match between Roman Reigns and Penta.

The 44-year-old opined that it was exactly what Penta needed to go to the next level. She pointed out that the luchador has worked very hard for two decades. Nattie further praised his performance against the OTC.

“I think Monday with Roman [Reigns], in Mexico City, I think it was exactly what Penta needed to go to that next level. I was talking about this with TJ [Wilson]… but Penta is not just some overnight sensation. I’m sure he started when he was a teenager. He’s in his early 40s now. He’s been wrestling for I would guess maybe two decades. This is not an overnight success story, but everything he’s ever been working for really led to Monday night. It was all leading to Monday night. That performance against Roman showed that Penta is, to me, a top star in WWE that not only could hang with Roman. Penta has had an incredible run this year, especially after winning the WWE Intercontinental Championship in March. Although he dropped the title to Chad Gable at SummerSlam, the Mexican star continues to put forth impressive performances. It will be interesting to see what’s next for him on Monday Night RAW.
