Jade Cargill shocked the WWE Universe by attacking Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton and turning heel on SmackDown this past week. She brutally assaulted the Buff Barbie after her match with Kiana James and a post-match attack from Giulia.
The former Women’s Tag Team Champion initially saved Stratton from James and Giulia and raised her hand in the ring. However, she then took matters into her own hands and took out Stratton, with security having to intervene and separate them.
The Storm seemingly injured Stratton by stomping down on her knee, which was propped up on the steel steps. However, the two are still scheduled to battle for the Women’s Title at Saturday Night’s Main Event this weekend. Days after her heel turn, the former AEW star has shared a personal update on her Instagram story by posting a mirror selfie of her at a gym.
“Yes. I go to the gym daily. Duh. New home gym almost done. So excited for that,” she wrote.

It remains to be seen whether The Storm will be able to take the Women’s Championship from Stratton this Saturday.
Jade Cargill sent Tiffany Stratton a strong message after turning heel
Jade Cargill embraced her new heel persona on social media after attacking Tiffany Stratton. On Instagram, she uploaded a picture of herself and taunted the reigning champion in the caption. The Storm claimed that the gold was too heavy for The Buff Barbie and that she would carry it better.
“Gold looks heavy on her. I’ll carry it better. 😈,” she wrote.
WWE released a statement claiming that Stratton was hurt, but was determined to defend her title against Cargill at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Her injury is seemingly part of the storyline and should lead to their feud becoming more intense.
