January 6 Prosecutors Seek Revenge, Target Trump’s Nominee For US Attorney in DC Ed Martin | The Gateway Pundit

Ed Martin moves crooked Biden prosecutors to misdemeanor court.

It’s all hands on deck to stop Trump’s nominee for DC US Attorney, Ed Martin.

January 6 prosecutors are now targeting Ed Martin.

Ed Martin is currently the Acting US Attorney for DC and Trump recently announced he nominated him for a permanent position as one of the country’s top cops.

In February, Ed Martin launched an investigation into threats against DOGE workers and revealed Democrat Senator Chuck Schumer as the target.

Ed Martin also launched an inquiry into former US Attorney Matthew Graves’ prosecutions of more than 1,500 January 6 protestors. He is specifically probing Graves’ abuse of the 1512(c)(2) obstruction charge.

In addition to probing Graves’ abuse of the 1512(c)(2), it was reported that Ed Martin humiliated numerous Biden DOJ prosecutors by transferring them to pursue misdemeanor offenses in the DC Superior Court.

“Those demoted include John Crabb and Elizabeth Aloi, who prosecuted contempt of Congress cases that sent Steve Bannon and Peter Navarro to jail for four months apiece. They include Jason McCullough, who helped lead the team that sent top Proud Boys leaders Enrique Tarrio, Joe Biggs and Ethan Nordean to prison for their role in orchestrating the breach of the Capitol. And they include Kathryn Rakoczy, who was a lead prosecutor in the Jan. 6 cases of Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes and more than a dozen of his allies, for their involvement in the attack on the Capitol,” Politico reported.

The January 6 prosecutors are striking back and targeting Ed Martin for ruin.

Five January 6 prosecutors asked a disciplinary board to investigate Ed Martin for dismissing January 6 cases and firing DOJ prosecutors.

CNN reported:

Martin, who has been serving in the post on an interim basis since Trump returned to the White House, is a divisive pick for the job. After stepping into the position, he used his new powers to dismiss January 6 Capitol riot cases, fire prosecutors who were involved in the investigations, go after his and Trump’s political adversaries, and launch internal reviews in an attempt to find misconduct within the office.

In a letter filed Sunday with the DC Bar’s Office of Disciplinary Counsel, the former prosecutors outlined those controversial actions, as well as others, saying that Martin violated several professional rules.

“He has used his brief time in office to demonstrate a fundamental misunderstanding of the role of a federal prosecutor, announcing investigations against his political opponents, aiding defendants he previously represented, and communicating improperly with those he did not,” the group wrote.

“These actions are not worthy of the Department of Justice, undermine the Constitutional guarantee of equal protection of law, and violate Mr. Martin’s professional obligations,” the letter reads.

This latest attack comes two weeks after Democrat Senator Adam Schiff (CA), a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, announced he is placing a hold on President Trump’s nominee for US Attorney in DC, Ed Martin.

Schiff said he is holding up Ed Martin’s nomination because he has “abused the power of the US Attorney’s office in DC” and used his office as a “cudgel to chill dissent…”

In a statement released earlier this month, Adam Schiff vowed to use his power as a US Senator to “block attempts to jam through his appointment at every stage.”
