Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff is preparing for the 2026 season after the NFL released schedules for the 32 teams last week. While the Pro Bowl quarterback is busy with the team’s offseason activities, his wife, Christen, added another feather to her cap this month.
Christen appeared on the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue this year for the first time since becoming a mother. Christen, who made her SI debut after co-winning the 2021 Swim Search with Katie Austin, attended the SI Swimsuit launch over the weekend.

Jared and Christen reportedly met through a dating app and started dating in 2019. They tied the knot in 2024 and Christen gave birth to their daughter, Romy, in July last year. She shared a heartfelt post on appearing on this year’s SI Swimsuit issue last week.
“Last year I shot 4 months pregnant and this year I was 6 months postpartum,” she captioned the post. “What an HONOR to be included in this magazine through so many special life moments! I’ll treasure these forever 🤍.”
Jared Goff’s Lions teammate hails his leadership qualities
Jared Goff has had four consecutive seasons with 4000+ yards with the Lions and has been and ever present figure in their offense. However, his impact goes beyond the gridiron as Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold revealed Goff’s leadership in the clubhouse.
In an appearance on the “NFL Spotlight” podcast with insider Ari Meirov, Arnold revealed how the veteran quarterback helps in the transition into a better player.
“If they beat me on something, he’ll (Goff) come back and tell me why he did it. Or what he’s reading or what he’s looking at, so that right there was everything to me. It just helped me become a better player and transition to the player that I want to become,” Arnold said.
The Lions missed the playoffs for the first time in three years last season and Goff hopes to drive Detroit to the postseason in 2026.
