Jey Uso retells mauling Goldust along with his brother; Cody Rhodes reacts

WWE Superstar Jey Uso recently retold the story of a match where he and his brother, Jimmy Uso, had Goldust on the receiving end of a beatdown. The Yeet Master laid the details out in front of the WWE legend’s brother, Cody Rhodes.

Speaking on the What Do You Wanna Talk About podcast, the former World Heavyweight Champion was asked about this particular match by The American Nightmare himself. This made the Yeet Master laugh, as he narrated how The Usos kept attacking Goldust.

After getting tired of selling their moves repeatedly, Dustin Rhodes asked Jimmy and Jey Uso to stop and give him a minute. The sudden demand, followed by a character break, turned into something hilarious, and hearing about it made Cody Rhodes laugh as well.

“We’re all green, like, uh, Goldust is like selling, okay, you know, me and Jim are just mauling him, f***. We’re, we’re 23, we’re just mauling. Man, Goldust breaks character, man. He’s on all fours. He goes, wait! Give me a goddamn minute! And he’s just sitting up, me and Jim back up. This is in the ring. I was like, sh**! He’s so mad.”

Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes had also teamed up back in 2023 and won the Undisputed Tag Team Championship at the 2023 Fastlane, although for a very short run. However, during this time, The American Nightmare also ended up doing something hilarious.

Following their win at the 2023 Fastlane, Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes appeared for a press conference, which went viral owing to the drunk shenanigans of both stars. The duo had celebrated their win with drinks prior to the press conference, which birthed the Yeet movement later on.

Speaking on the same podcast episode, the former two-time Undisputed WWE Champion revealed that he got very caught up in the moment, so much so that he was about to get a Samoan tattoo.

Rhodes asked the Yeet Master and the others in a group chat if white people could get those tattoos, and was laughed at in response. This led to The American Nightmare not pursuing the idea seriously. It would be interesting to see what lies ahead for the two stars on the Road to WrestleMania 42.
