He read the fan’s sign from the crowd, which said she had waited nine years for this moment and came from Barcelona. Jimin then asked security to pass the jacket directly to her during the performance of Blood Sweat & Tears.
The fan, identified as @emma_clv73 on X, was visible wearing Suga 93 merch when she received the jacket. In the circulated video, she showed a strong emotional reaction. She later confirmed the details in her own posts, explaining that Jimin had noticed her sign during soundcheck and approached her section specifically to give her the item. Her account bio now states she received Jimin’s jacket on Munich day 2.
She later posted a message on X thanking Jimin and said:
“Thank you Jimin for the jacket. I’m so grateful that after 9 years my dreams finally came true in a way that I couldn’t imagine. Thank you bangtan for helping me become the person I am today. 아포방포 💜”
The video spread quickly on X after users shared clearer and fuller versions of the clip. Some fans noticed the Suga merch the recipient was wearing and began to question why Jimin chose her. A small number of comments expressed disappointment and criticized it. They focused on the idea that the gift went to someone perceived as favoring another member.
Following those comments, many other fans responded by highlighting the positive aspects of the interaction. They pointed out Jimin’s own decision to give the jacket and the fan’s visible joy. BTS to promote NORMAL as the new single on U.S. Pop radio
Billboard reported on July 13, 2026, that BTS would push the song NORMAL from their fifth studio album ARIRANG as the next single for U.S. Pop radio. Interscope Records and Capitol Records will start promoting it to pop formats the week of July 27. BIGHIT MUSIC also ran full-page newspaper ads in the San Francisco Chronicle and New York Post on July 14.
BTS had teased the NORMAL music video on July 9 through their official accounts using LAMRON branding, which is NORMAL in reverse. Spotify also created seven NORMAL Day playlists, one per member, for users to vote on songs matching daily themes.
BTS will perform in Saint-Denis, France, on July 17 and 18. They will appear at the FIFA World Cup 2026 final halftime show on July 19.
