Just do not be biased, man

Dominick Reyes recently named his favorite UFC commentator and continued to urge Daniel Cormier to be less biased on the broadcast desk.

Reyes went up against Azamat Murzakanov in a light heavyweight fight at UFC 333 last weekend and pulled off an incredible first-round TKO victory. In the aftermath, Reyes took issue with Cormier’s commentary during the fight and sounded off on the UFC legend in a series of fiery X posts.

In a recent interview with Ariel Helwani, Reyes opened up about which UFC commentators he liked and named Dominick Cruz as “the best” one. Adding Jon Anik, Laura Sanko, and Paul Felder to his list of favored broadcasters, he said:

“I like DC too, I think he’s extremely well-spoken, man… He’s got a silver tongue. He gets fans in there. I think he’s really good at what he does. He just needs to do better. That’s it. I think Dom Cruz is the best.”

He added:

“I think Anik is really, really good. I like Paul Felder a lot. Laura Sanko is amazing. They’re all really good, but you could do better. Just don’t be biased, man, and be real. Realize these are our lives. You can’t just say things willy-nilly about us out here.”

Daniel Cormier responds to Dominick Reyes’ criticism after UFC 333

Daniel Cormier recently responded to Dominick Reyes’ criticism of his performance on the UFC commentary desk.

Under one of Reyes’ X posts where the light heavyweight contender slammed Cormier for referring to him as “kid” during the fight, ‘DC’ responded with a tweet of his own and wrote:

“Yo, Dom, chill. I don’t call you ‘kid’ negatively; I’ve only spoken truth to you. When you do some amazing s**t like you did today, I praise you. If you do something like the last fight with Johnny [Walker], I speak the truth about that too. But these comments seem like you’ve been carrying something with you for a while. You can always talk to me. I’m not very hard to find.”
