While other conflicts in the world are winding down, the war in Ukraine continues unabated, as emboldened Ukrainians put their fate on European warmongers even after the United States has turned off the money tap.

As for the Russians, having conquered over 3,000 square miles in 2025, they continue to work to achieve their objectives in the war.
A year ago, Moscow destroyed Ukrainian energy infrastructure and pushed Ukraine to the point of having to introduce ‘rolling blackouts’ – and then suddenly stopped – but not for the lack of capabilities.

Now, as another winter is coming, the attacks on power plants and energy infrastructure has begun again, and power outage schedules are ongoing in Ukraine.
Emergency schedules have been introduced in the Kiev, Poltava, Kharkov, and Sumy regions – and local authorities say it’s impossible to predict how long they will last.
