Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce did not invite his friend Will Compton to his high-profile wedding with pop star Taylor Swift on Friday. Compton has reacted to it.
Compton, a former NFL tight end, co-hosts the podcast “Bussin’ With The Boys.” Kelce also appeared on the podcast many times. They grew closer through the summer camp Kelce conducts for tight ends.

Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy called Compton on a recent podcast episode. He asked why Compton wasn’t at Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s wedding. The ceremony took place at Madison Square Garden in New York and drew more than 1,000 guests.

“As I’ve been seeing these photos of everybody else … I’m kind of flabbergasted why we didn’t get the invite.”
Dave Portnoy replied that “all of Tight End U” was present except for Compton and his BWTB co-host Taylor Lewan.
The wedding brought in guests from music, film and sports. Gigi Hadid, Tom Hanks, Paul McCartney and several current Chiefs players, including Patrick Mahomes, all attended.

Country singer Maren Morris shared photos of gifts given to guests. Each one was a handkerchief with a lyric from Taylor Swift’s song “Blank Space” stitched onto it.
Adam Sandler officiated the wedding. Stevie Nicks performed at the reception. “Good Morning America” anchor George Stephanopoulos attended and said the vows were “real, vulnerable, serious and silly,” according to E! News. He said the night felt intimate despite its size.
An insider told the Daily Mail that Travis Kelce looked nervous while saying his vows. He promised to protect Taylor Swift forever, and the moment brought her to tears.
