Kit Unveilings Keep Coming As European Soccer League Seasons Inch Closer – SportsLogos.Net News

As we inch closer and closer to the start of the 2024-25 season for Europe’s top domestic soccer leagues, the kit unveilings have been fast and furious over the past few days.

Here’s a look at what has been launched over the past few days:

🇮🇹 JUVENTUS FC – Away

After including a lunar texture on their 2024-25 home kit, Serie A powerhouses Juventus keep the space theme going with their away kit, made by Adidas. According to the club, “the uniform uses the iconic stripes that are usually featured on the home jersey and reinterprets the colours to create a motif inspired by our universe’s infinite, unexplored galaxies.” The club crest and Adidas shoulder stripes are blue, with pink accents on the sides and collar.

🇮🇹 AC MILAN – Away

Fellow Serie A side AC Milan debuted their new away kits for 2024-25, made by Puma, during the second half of a preseason friendly at Yankee Stadium over the weekend; both teams wore their home kits in the first half, then AC Milan changed into their away kit while Man City donned their new third kit. The Rossoneri‘s kit is white with barely-perceptible tonal pinstripes and red and black striping on the polo collar and sleeve cuffs. The club crest and sponsor logos are monochromatic black.

🇪🇸 ATLÉTICO DE MADRID – Away

Spanish La Liga giants Atlético de Madrid pay homage to a local landmark with their 2024-25 away kit, made by Nike. The “ocean blue” base of the kit is a nod to the Fountain of Neptune in Madrid, “where fans gather to celebrate triumphs.” Red and white striping adorns the collar, sleeve cuffs and side panels, and a red trident is printed inside the collar. The club crest appears in one-color red on the left chest.

CHELSEA FC – Away

After pushing the boat with their home kits, Premier League side Chelsea FC and Nike have opted for a much more traditional away kit for 2024-25. The kit is a solid off-white color — officially dubbed “Guava Ice” by Nike — with a collar, sleeve cuffs and side panels in the same shade of blue as their home kit. Orange and white trim appears on the sleeve cuffs and side panels, and a line of orange piping runs down each shoulder. The club crest and Nike logo on the chest are rendered in blue and orange.

AFC BOURNEMOUTH – Home

AFC Bournemouth mark the 10th anniversary of their latest promotion to the Premier League with classically styled home kits from manufacturer Umbro. The kits feature broad red and black vertical stripes on the front trimmed with gold pinstripes. The sleeves and collar are solid black, while the sleeve cuffs are red.

NEWCASTLE UNITED – Third

Premier League side Newcastle United combine a couple of different eras of club history for their 2024-25 third kit, made by Adidas. The white base and green accents are inspired by the club’s 1999-2000 away kit, while the retro club crest on the left chest harkens back to the 1980s. The polo collar is black with a green stripe, while the tapered inserts at the shoulders and the Adidas stripes are black.

EVERTON FC – Away

Premier League side Everton take inspiration “from the famous atmospheric nights that have played out under the glow of [Goodison Park’s] floodlights” for their 2024-25 away kits, made by Castore. The kits are charcoal grey with a tonal geometric pattern all over. Sponsor logos and trim on the collar stand out in bright yellow. The left chest features a yellow Prince Rupert’s Tower icon that Everton has been using as a secondary crest in recent years.

🇮🇹 SSC NAPOLI – Away

It’s déjà vu all over again for Italian Serie A side SSC Napoli. Their 2024-25 away kit follows the same EA7 template as their home kit, only with a white base and navy blue accents, including the side panels and trim on the sleeve cuffs and collar. A repeating pattern of embossed club crests covers the shirt, and the revamped club crest appears on the left chest in navy blue.

🇪🇸 RAYO VALLECANO – Home, Away and Third

Spanish La Liga side Rayo Vallecano celebrates its 100th anninversary in 2024-25 with kits manufactured by Umbro. Each kit features Vallecano’s trademark lightning bolt across the front, but this year additional bolts were added to form the number 100. Each kit also has a V-neck collar with a contrasting insert at the front and the club crest in the middle of the chest. The home kit is white with red bolts; the away kit if red with white bolts; and the third kit is grey with black bolts.

🇪🇸 CD LEGANÉS – Home

For their first season back in La Liga in four years, CD Leganés are ready to fight for their badge with all their heart in home kits made by Joma. The kits feature the two blue stripes from the club crest writ large over the front of the white shirt, with each stripe bordered in gold. Gold also appears on the collar and as trim on the blue sleeve cuffs. The kits will also feature a badge above the La Liga logo on the right sleeve marking Leganés’s Segunda División championship in 2023-24.

🇪🇸 UD LAS PALMAS – Third

La Liga side UD Las Palmas pays tribute to local landmarks with their third kit for 2024-25, made by Hummel. The light green base features navy blue accents like the crew neck collar, collarbone striping and sponsor logos. The side panels and collar bones feature a pattern depicting prominent buildings around Gran Canaria, including the Cathedral of Santa Ana, the Casa de Colón, the Castillo de la Luz, the Maspalomas Lighthouse and the Roque Nublo. Up the right side of the shirt is the slogan “PÍO-PÍO,” a nickname for the club’s players that comes from the sound canaries make.

🇫🇷 AJ AUXERRE – Home

French side AJ Auxerre return to Ligue 1 in style for 2024-25 in home kits made by Macron. The kits’ white base is the canvas for the blue sash running from the top left to the bottom right. The sash itself houses triangles of varying shades of blue that fade out toward the middle to make room for a sponsor’s logo. Blue trim also appears on the V-neck collar and sleeve cuffs.

🇩🇪 WERDER BREMEN – Away

After launching bold home and third kits for 2024-25, German Bundlesliga side Werder Bremen tones things way down for their away kit, made by Hummel. The base of the kit is an off-white “marshmallow” color, while the raglan sleeves, side panels and collar are a light “reed green” that doesn’t offer a lot of contrast in certain lighting. The base of the kit also has an embossed pattern of diamonds that mimic the shape of the club crest.
