KKR house match record, dates & timings in IST

The schedule for the first phase of IPL 2026, to be played from March 28 to April 12, was released by the BCCI on Wednesday, March 11. Since State Assembly elections are set to be held in West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Assam, the full schedule of the T20 league will be released once the poll dates are announced.

Three-time champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will play their first home match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on April 2. KKR’s second home game of IPL 2026 will be against Punjab Kings (PBKS) at the same venue on April 6. They will then face Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the Eden Gardens on April 9.

IPL 2026 will kick off with a match between defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and SRH at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on March 28. The first double-header of the season will be held on April 4. Delhi Capitals (DC) take on Mumbai Indians (MI) In the day game, while Gujarat Titans (GT) will meet Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the evening clash.

KKR at the IPL 2026 auction

With the largest purse of ₹64.30 crore, KKR were busiest franchise at the IPL 2026 auction. They purchased as many as 13 players at the mini-auction. In-demand Australian all-rounder Cameron Green was their most expensive buy at a whopping ₹25.20 crore. KKR also bought Sri Lankan fast bowler Matheesha Pathirana for ₹18 crore.

Rachin Ravindra (₹2 crore), Finn Allen (₹2 crore), Tim Seifert (₹1.5 crore), Akash Deep (₹1 crore) and Rahul Tripathi (₹75 lakh) were some of the Kolkata franchise’s other prominent purchases at the IPL 2026 auction.
