Korean Battle Vet Who Made a Title for Himself on ‘Star Trek’ and Clint Eastwood Movies Lifeless at 94: Report | The Gateway Pundit

Actor William O’Connell, who performed a “Star Trek” villain and a Clint Eastwood nemesis, is lifeless on the age of 94.

In response to Deadline, which mentioned a household good friend knowledgeable the outlet of his passing, he died Jan. 15 at his house in Sherman Oaks, California.

No explanation for demise was revealed.

O’Connell was a 1st lieutenant within the forty fifth Infantry through the Korean War.  For his service, he was honored with the Bronze Star and different commendations.

O’Connell appeared in a number of TV reveals within the Nineteen Sixties, together with “Highway Patrol,” “Peter Gunn,”  “The Twilight Zone,”  “Dennis the Menace,” “Bonanza,” “Batman” and “The Lucy Show.”

In 1967, he was forged in an episode of “Star Trek” known as “Journey to Babel.”

Within the episode, he performed the character Thelev, who sought however did not destroy the Enterprise.

Throughout the episode, he wounded Captain James T. Kirk with a poisoned knife.

O’Connell was a good friend of Eastwood and appeared in quite a few Eastwood’s movies, together with “Paint Your Wagon,” “High Plains Drifter,” “The Outlaw Josey Wales,” “Every Which Way but Loose” and  “Any Which Way You Can.”

O’Connell was born on Could 12, 1929, in Los Angeles.

In response to TV Insider, O’Connell acted in TV shows all through the Eighties.

His final look was in 1991, when he appeared within the TV film “The Haunted” as Father Kearney.
