Aaron Rodgers has been known to wear one type of pregame outfit – a pullover jacket bearing the logo of whichever team he is playing for. But as his farewell season progresses, fans are already tiring of it.
That was prevalent again on Thursday, when the multiple-time MVP arrived at Huntington Bank Field ahead of a game against the Cleveland Browns:
Thanks for the submission!

“The lack of aura is unreal,” one mentioned.
“3 turnovers incoming,” another guaranteed.
“Ready to throw it to the Browns,” one predicted.
“Reality remains under review,” another “proclaimed.”
“Whole country bout to watch him be washed on Prime Video,” one salivated.
“140 Yards 0 TDs 3 INTs,” went a bet.
The game marks Rodgers’ penultimate one against the Browns, whose head coach Todd Monken had nothing but praise for his longevity and excellence:
“One of the all-time greats, I mean, there’s no way around it. Everybody in the NFL is elite, but to be an all-time great, that’s special. … There’s not anything he hasn’t seen, you talk about a student of the game, not only has he seen it, but highly intelligent. … He’s the standard. He is.”
Meanwhile, Deshaun Watson, who would tear his Achilles the following season after Rodgers, called him an inspiration, even expressing hope of lasting two decades in the league like him:
“It’s motivating, inspiring to be able to see what he’s doing at the age that he’s doing it for so long. I was watching him as a young kid and just being able to now play against him. It’s super dope to see him on the other side, and you can learn a lot from him.”

Aaron Rodgers’ Steelers teammate reveals how many hand signals multiple-time MVP uses
As Aaron Rodgers trudges through his farewell tour, there has been a race to decode his “language” before it is too late.
On Thursday morning, Yahoo! Sports’ Jori Epstein published a lengthy feature about his hand signals. The first interviewee to come up in the article was Steelers second-year quarterback Will Howard, who recalled being presented with a Google Doc during training camp of his rookie year:
“He gave me kind of the baseline of like, ‘All right, hitch, slant, routes, a couple of combinations here and there, some formation signals. …’ We would kind of evolve it as we went. So it started off with probably 25, 30 signals and then it ended up being like 75 by the end of [the season].”
The Steelers-Browns game commences at 8:15 p.m. ET on Amazon Prime Video.
