Lil Yachty suggests former WWE champion hit him on function at SNME

Lil Yachty suggested that a major WWE star hit him on purpose at Sunday Night’s Main Event. The popular star made his in-ring debut at the event earlier this month in Atlanta, Georgia.

Speaking on the Insight podcast with Chris Van Vliet, Lil Yachty suggested that Baron Corbin hit him on purpose at Sunday Night’s Main Event. Yachty noted that he had bashed Corbin in the face earlier in the match, and The Lone Wolf potentially gave him a receipt with the powerful Clothesline.

“When he first did it, I thought I wasn’t gonna be able to finish. I could not breathe at all, that was not selling. I think that was a receipt for me hitting him with that microphone, but I don’t know. It hurt so bad, bro,” he said. (H/T: Fightful)

Lil Yachty won a Beat the Clock match against Corbin at SNME by lasting five minutes in the ring. As a result of the victory, Trick Williams was given a shot at the United States Championship. Williams defeated Corbin following his loss to Yachty at Sunday Night’s Main Event to become the new United States Champion.

Corbin’s contract with WWE expired in 2024, and he spent some time on the independent wrestling scene following his departure from the company. He returned to the promotion on the July 10 edition of SmackDown and captured the United States Championship from Williams at WWE SummerSlam.

Lil Yachty reveals how he is feeling after WWE debut match

Popular musician Lil Yachty revealed he was not feeling well following his first wrestling match.

During his conversation on the Insight podcast, Lil Yachty disclosed that he was in pain following the match at WWE SNME. He noted that his knees were in pain, and it felt like he had been wrestling for two decades.

“My kneecaps. But when I woke up this morning, my shoulder felt dislocated. My kneecaps, my shins. I couldn’t even tighten my hand. As the day goes on, everything’s loosening up. When I first sat up in bed, it was the most pain I ever felt in my life. Shins, knees, whatever this is behind the kneecap, my back, my lower back. I feel like I’m wrestling for 20 years. Man, it’s bad,” he said.

It will be interesting to see how long Trick Williams can hang on to the United States Championship moving forward on WWE SmackDown.
