Lindsey Vonn makes her feelings known on making a comeback

Lindsey Vonn expressed her thoughts about making a comeback in an appearance on ‘The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.’ The American skier shared that even though there was a lot of skepticism around her comeback, she was confident about returning to the slopes after her partial knee replacement surgery.
Vonn expressed that the surgery gave a solution for her long-standing issues with her knee, and she took it as a personal challenge to push her limits and return to the competitive circuit.
“You know this is kind of a crazy comeback. I have a titanium knee. I am forty-one. I already had the record for the oldest Olympic medalist at thirty-three. I think some people were a little bit skeptical of my comeback, but you know, when I got the silver medal at the last World Cup, it was just like the Olympics for me. I did it for myself. I knew I could do it, but so many people said that I couldn’t. I proved everyone wrong. I proved myself I could,” she said.
She expressed how registering a podium position performance at the World Cup finals boosted her and elevated her confidence as she aimed to dominate the upcoming skiing season.
