Looking to improve your LinkedIn approach in 2025?
This could help. LinkedIn has launched a new “Create on LinkedIn” mini-site, which includes a range of posting tips, best practices, examples, and more.

And there’s a heap of info to take in, which could make this a valuable site to tag for reference as you go about building your LinkedIn presence.
The mini-site includes a general overview of the “why” of LinkedIn posting, along with links to more specific sections that focus on each element.

There’s a range of posting tips, including key fundamentals of engaging LinkedIn content.

There’s also a section focused on video specifically, including performance tips, notes on ideal length, and an overview of LinkedIn video specs.

Which is definitely worth noting, because video on LinkedIn has seen a big rise of late.
The platform recently reported that video watch time in the app rose 36% year-over-year, while video content also generates 1.4x more engagement than other formats.
As such, this element, in particular, could be worth checking out.
LinkedIn has also included links to relevant LinkedIn Learning courses on how to maximize your platform presence.
It’s a handy explainer, with a range of pointers, which could help you get a better handle on the latest best practices. And even if you’re confident that you know what you’re doing, there’s no doubt a couple of notes that you either hadn’t considered, or weren’t aware of, so it probably is worth checking it out, even just as a subliminal note for when you post.
