Detroit Lions cornerback Amik Robertson hasn’t taken the 24-31 loss to the Green Bay Packers well. The 27-year-old CB vented his frustration on the referees in a social media post on Thursday.
Robertson highlighted the officiating from the third quarter when Packers quarterback Jordan Love found Green Bay wide receiver for a 51-yard touchdown against the Lions CB.

The Lions cornerback slammed the referees in his Instagram story, sharing a clip of the play. He claimed being pushed on the play that led to the Patriots taking a 24-14 lead in the second half.

Watson scored a crucial touchdown against Robertson as the Lions cornerback seemingly struggled against the Packers’ offense. He had three pass break ups for Love’s passes and had one against Watson.

Amik Robertson allowed five catches for 95 yards on nine targets with Packers quarterback Jordan Love exposing the cornerback with two of his four touchdown passes coming against him in the game.
It wasn’t a one-off game for Robertson as he had his worst performance of the season against the New York Giants last week. He allowed eight catches for 99 yards and a touchdown in the win against the Giants.
The 27-year-old has been underwhelming in his second season with the team, allowing 43 catches for 570 yards and five touchdowns with an interception and seven pass breakups on 68 targets.
Robertson is in the final year of his $9.25 million contract with the Lions and he could be let go by the team at the end of the season.
