LIVE UPDATE: Wisconsin Supreme Court Race — Democrat Susan Crawford Projected Winner | The Gateway Pundit

Judge Brad Schimel and Judge Susan Crawford

The polls have closed in Wisconsin in a hot-button Supreme Court race between Republican Brad Schimel and far-left Democrat Susan Crawford.

The race will decide Wisconsin’s future, including election laws, voter ID laws, ballot drop boxes, and the redistricting of the state’s eight US House seats.

Currently, Republicans in Wisconsin hold a 6-2 majority in US House seats, yet surprisingly, Democrats are able to win statewide races. It’s very odd.

President Trump won the state, but Democrats were able to snatch a late victory for the US Senate seat.

Brad Schimel opened up an early lead in the state.

UPDATE: Susan Crawford pulls ahead at 20:30 Central time.

UPDATE: At 8:40 PM, Decision Desk HQ has projected Susan Crawford as the winner in Wisconsin.

Crawford is a radical Democrat.

Her record reeks of the kind of soft-on-crime, anti-law-and-order stance that makes conservatives’ blood boil.

Take the case of Kevin Welton, a convicted child sex offender—she sentenced him to just four years in prison in 2019, despite prosecutors pushing for a decade behind bars.

Welton was out in two, thanks to her lenient ruling that let his sentences run concurrently instead of stacking them.

Crawford’s radicalism doesn’t stop there. She’s a former attorney for Planned Parenthood, fighting to keep abortion unrestricted, and she’s bragged about leading the charge against Act 10—the law that curbed public union power under Governor Scott Walker. She called voter ID laws “draconian” and worked with the League of Women Voters to dismantle them.

Does anyone believe she won by 13 points, in Wisconsin?

The Gateway Pundit reported earlier Tuesday that if Schimel doesn’t win, Democrats are poised to seize control, redraw congressional maps, and snatch at least two Republican House seats in 2026.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries has openly stated that a liberal majority on the Wisconsin Supreme Court is their ticket to revisiting and redrawing the state’s congressional maps.

While state legislative districts were redrawn for the 2024 elections, the congressional districts remained unchanged after the Wisconsin Supreme Court declined to reconsider them. Electing Susan Crawford could open the door for Democrats to push for redistricting that favors their agenda.

It’s also worth noting the unprecedented spending in this race, with over $90 million poured into the campaigns, making it the most expensive judicial election in U.S. history. George Soros donated $1 million to the Wisconsin Democratic Party, while former Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker contributed $500,000. Subsequently, the Democrat party transferred $2 million to Crawford’s campaign.
