Lucid CFO bounces after Gravity SUV debut

Lucid’s chief monetary officer Sherry Home is leaving the corporate to “pursue other opportunities,” the automaker instructed buyers on Monday.

The information comes lower than a month after Lucid debuted its luxury Gravity SUV, and mere days after Nasdaq mentioned it can bump the agency from the Nasdaq-100 index (alongside eBay and Zoom). Lucid’s inventory ended common buying and selling down by about 2.5%, at $4.61 per share. The inventory sank by greater than 3% throughout after-hours buying and selling, to round $4.47 per share.

Home’s departure is “effective immediately,” Lucid wrote in a filing with the Securities and Trade Fee. The corporate didn’t say a lot else relating to the trigger for the management change, besides that the choice was apparently “not the result of any disagreement.” Lucid added that accounting govt Gagan Dhingra will step up as interim CFO.

For his or her hassle, the outgoing and rising execs will obtain the type of cash you’d have to afford a Lucid SUV — given its expected $80,000 price tag

Home joined Lucid in Could 2021, after spending near 4 years at Waymo, per LinkedIn. The chief will go away with severance, a $215,000 bonus, accelerated inventory vesting and an organization car.

Dhingra joined Lucid in December 2021 and beforehand led accounting at financial software developer Anaplan. With the brand new interim position, Lucid mentioned it’ll grant Dhingra $500,000 in inventory in addition to bonuses and a $25,000 month-to-month stipend.

Reached by TechCrunch, Lucid declined to remark past the assertion in its Monday SEC submitting.
