Major Championship match introduced on WWE SmackDown

On WWE SmackDown tonight, a major title match was made official for next week. It will mark the first time the championship will be defended in two months. It is the Women’s Tag Team Championships. This week, Charlotte Flair revealed that she and Tatum Paxley will be teaming together to challenge the current champions, Fatal Influence.

Earlier tonight, Tatum Paxley was in a Money in the Bank Qualifier Match. Unfortunately, she was unsuccessful; it was Tiffany Stratton who picked up the win and qualified for the Women’s MITB Ladder Match. Following the loss, Paxley was backstage, disappointed with herself. Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair looked to console Paxley. At the moment, Flair mentioned that she and Bliss had spoken to General Manager Nick Aldis, and they got a tag team title opportunity for next week’s episode of SmackDown.

The team of Bliss, Charlotte Flair, and Tatum Paxley have been feuding with the Fatal Influence for a while. Every time that Flair and Paxley teamed up together in WWE against Fatal Influence, they have emerged victorious. So next week, the challengers will be heading into the match with more momentum.

This match will mark the second title defence for Fatal Influence. They defended the championship back in August.
