Massive WWE grudge match rumored for Sunday Night’s Main Event

A huge WWE grudge match is rumored to be going down at Sunday Night’s Main Event next month. The event will be taking place at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, on Sunday, September 6.

Speaking on a WrestleVotes Q&A on Fightful Select, JoeyVotes shared that the company may be planning a huge grudge match for Sunday Night’s Main Event next month. The insider stated that Fatal Influence may be facing Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, and Tatum Paxley at the event in a couple of weeks. Tatum Paxley debuted on the main roster on August 7 and aligned with Flair and Bliss amid their rivalry with Fatal Influence on SmackDown.

“I do know the women’s trios match—Fatal Influence vs. Alexa, Tatum, and Charlotte—has been loosely discussed to make that card. They are treating this event as a PLE-lite,” said the insider. (H/T: Ringside News)

Lainey Reid and Fallon Henley defeated Brie Bella and Paige at Saturday Night’s Main Event last month to capture the Women’s Tag Team Championships. Paige has since been betrayed by The Bella Twins, and Brie Bella suffered a shoulder injury at WWE SummerSlam 2026.

Jacy Jayne is the leader of Fatal Influence, and she recently captured her first title on the main roster. She defeated Tiffany Stratton last week on SmackDown to become the new Women’s United States Champion.

WWE star reveals plans for Fatal Influence moving forward

Women’s Tag Team Champion Fallon Henley shared that her stable has big plans moving forward in WWE.

Speaking with Cody Rhodes on the What Do You Wanna Talk About? podcast, Henley suggested that her faction was going to take over everything on SmackDown. She noted that the group was dominant in NXT and expected that to continue on the main roster.

“I think for us, it’s just taking over everything, running everything. When we were in NXT, we ran NXT for almost two years. So I think as a group, we just want to run everything. Run sh*t. That’s our goal,” she said.

It will be interesting to see what WWE has planned for Tatum Paxley on SmackDown following her surprise debut earlier this month.
