Mecole Hardman says he’ll by no means play for the NY Jets once more

Huge receiver Mecole Hardman has received three Tremendous Bowls with the Kansas Metropolis Chiefs. He was the hero of Tremendous Bowl LVIII, hauling within the game-winning TD in extra time.

Now Hardman, 25, is ready to hit the open market, and there may be already one staff he has crossed off his checklist — the one he initially began the 2023 season with.

“No,” Hardman told NFL Total Access when requested a couple of Gang Inexperienced reunion. “I won’t go back to the Jets.”

Hardman signed a one-year, $4 million contract with New York through the 2023 offseason. Regardless of reported “big plans” for the speedy receiver, Hardman performed simply 30 whole snaps – 28 on offense – throughout 5 video games with the Jets. When Hardman acquired traded to the Chiefs midseason, he had one reception for six yards on three targets. Hardman completed the Tremendous Bowl with three receptions for 57 yards and a landing.

​​“It was a roller coaster,” Hardman said about his time with the Jets earlier than the Tremendous Bowl. “Things definitely didn’t go like I wanted it to go. I guess I just wasn’t on the same page with everybody.

“There’s no bad blood over there. I’m happy for everybody over there. I’m still cool with some of those guys. I wish them the best. I think things happened like it was supposed to.”

As for returning to the Tremendous Bowl Champions, Hardman is open to the chance.

“We’ll just see if they want me back,” Hardman stated. “If not, it might be somewhere else, so we’ll see.”
