Microsoft Buys Over 1,000 Acres of Farmland in Wisconsin | The Gateway Pundit

Microsoft Corp has simply finalized its buy of over 1,000 acres of farmland in Racine County, Wisconsin.

The 1,000 acres have been a part of three transactions totaling practically $176 million.

Microsoft’s remaining transaction was the acquisition of 407 acres, which included a  pumpkin farm and a 9-acre corn maze in Mount Nice.

The large land buy is a part of Microsft’s plan to take a position practically $1 billion in a knowledge middle in Mount Nice.

Per Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:

Microsoft Corp. has accomplished its buy of simply over 1,000 acres of Racine County farm land that shall be developed for knowledge middle amenities.

The three transactions totaled practically $176 million.

The corporate paid the Village of Mount Nice $63.2 million for 400 acres on Braun Highway and Durand Avenue, in accordance with newly filed deeds.

Additionally, Microsoft paid the village $36.5 million for 241 acres on County Freeway H.

Lastly, the corporate purchased 407 acres on Braun Highway and Durand Avenue from Creuziger Farms Inc. for $76 million, in accordance with the deeds posted on-line Wednesday by the Wisconsin Division of Income.

The brand new knowledge middle is predicted to rent 300 to 400 workers.
