ESPN analyst Mina Kimes has called out Elon Musk for the changes he has implemented on X (formerly Twitter) since acquiring the social media platform in October 2022. On Friday, reports claimed that X modified some of its image editing features in its Grok artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot behind a paywall amid widespread condemnation over the tool’s use in creating non-consensual sexual deepfakes.
When Kimes caught wind of the report, she slammed Musk for his “wretched intentions” after initially promising to democratize the platform.
Thanks for the submission!
“I’m old enough to remember him saying he was democratizing this app when he bought it; now he’s creating a hierarchy where you literally pay for the right to harass and abuse people. Wretched stuff,” Kimes tweeted on Friday.

The report also claimed that the British government has urged regulators to consider banning X entirely.
On Saturday, Indonesia became the first country to temporarily block Musk’s Grok chatbot due to the risk of AI-generated sexual content.
Mina Kimes slams Cleveland Browns for not firing GM Andrew Berry after disastrous 2025 NFL season

The Cleveland Browns fired Kevin Stefanski from his coaching role on Monday after the team finished with a dismal 5-12 record in the 2025 NFL season. However, the Browns chose to continue with Andrew Berry as their general manager, and he has been tasked with the job of finding the team’s new coach for next season.
Cleveland’s decision to retain Berry in his role left Mina Kimes puzzled.
“I am honestly a little puzzled that they trust Andrew Berry to be the steward of all the choices and the cap space and everything,” Kimes said on ESPN earlier this week.
Kimes also said that Berry oversaw the “worst trade in NFL history” when the Browns acquired quarterback Deshaun Watson in 2022.
Berry sent six draft picks to the Houston Texans, including three first-rounders, to land Watson. He followed it by giving Watson a fully guaranteed five-year, $230 million contract.
Watson has played 19 games for the Browns, posting a 9-10 record. The QB has struggled to lead the team’s offense when healthy, but has also dealt with injuries and suspensions, hampering his career.
