Missouri College Board Removes Black Historical past Lessons After Vote On Anti Racism Decision | The Gateway Pundit

The seven-member Francis Howell College Board voted 5-2 Thursday evening to cease providing Black Historical past and Black Literature programs, which had been provided on the district’s three excessive colleges since 2021, KSDK reported. All seven members of the board are white.

“Our students really wanted these electives,” Harry Harris, whose son is a pupil within the district, stated throughout the board assembly. “Our families really wanted them and our teachers really wanted them. It’s important. It’s been great.”

In July, the conservative-led board revoked an anti-racism decision that had been handed in 2020 following the police killing of George Floyd.

This decision, which vowed to combat racism, discrimination, and mindless violence towards individuals regardless of their race, ethnicity, faith, sexual orientation, gender identification, or capacity, has been faraway from faculty buildings.
