Former New York Knicks big man Mitchell Robinson could not believe what he saw on social media involving OG Anunoby. Social media content creator Erika Calabrese posted on Instagram that the 2026 NBA champion slid into her DMs.
Calabrese posted a screenshot of Anunoby’s alleged message, asking to fly her out to New York City.

Calabrese posted two videos on Instagram about Anunoby trying to reach out to her. The second video was her holding a phone while the NBA player was trying to call her.
Robinson couldn’t help but laugh at the situation. He commented this:
Anunoby has not addressed Calabrese’s claim about reaching out to her.
According to Marca, the content creator is based in Tampa. She is a model with dwarfism and stands at about four feet tall. On Instagram, she has amassed over 800,000 followers. Her recent claim to fame was that Anunoby wanted to connect with her. Since then, she has gone viral.
The first content about the Knicks star that she uploaded has gained over one million views on Instagram.

Even a few celebrity fans have raved about Anunoby’s impact. “The Odyssey” star Anne Hathaway is one of the Hollywood celebrities who have been massive fans of the two-time champion. During an interview with First We Feast, Hathaway played a guessing game with Josh Hartnett and Dakota Johnson, promoting their new film, “Verity.”
Hathaway held a photo of Anunoby and she tried to guess who it was. However, both Hartnett and Johnson had no clue who the NBA star was. Even the “Fifty Shades of Grey” star didn’t think the Knicks star was real. When Hathaway finally guessed who it was, she educated them on who Anunoby is.
“Yes, oh my. Game four. Of the NBA championship. One of the greatest baskets ever scored by a player is OG Anunoby, and you just have to watch it. It’s poetry in motion. I mean, you just can’t. It’s divine,” Hathaway said.
Hathaway also shared the moment when Anunoby saved the ball during a game against the Chicago Bulls. The actress sat courtside to watch the Knicks with her youngest son, Jack.
“And so one year we went, the other part of the dream is like that somehow the ball will get, come to you and you get to catch it and then like give it back to a player,” she said.
“And I went and I looked this way, but somebody else was also trying to catch it, which was OG Anunoby.”
Hathaway said that it was a bucket list moment for her, and Anunoby made it more special.
