A mixed verdict was reached in Harvey Weinstein’s MeToo retrial on Wednesday after hearing allegation from three women.

The New York jury found disgraced Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein guilty of forcibly subjecting a woman to a criminal sex act and acquitted him on count two of a criminal sex act.

The third charge of rape is still undecided.

The jury foreperson reported problems during the deliberations this week.

According to reports, jurors sent several notes asking questions about the allegations.

At least three jurors said other jurors were acting like a high schoolers and bullying/threatening each other.

Fox News reported:

Harvey Weinstein, the former Hollywood mogul who pleaded not guilty in his New York sex crimes retrial, was found guilty of forcibly subjecting a woman to a criminal sex act in 2006 on Wednesday.

The jury acquitted Weinstein on a second criminal sex act charge, and they are continuing to deliberate on a third charge of rape.

Weinstein had been charged with raping a woman in 2013 and forcing oral sex on two others in 2006. For the third-degree rape charge, the former film producer could face a four-year maximum. Each first-degree criminal sexual act count carries a maximum sentence of 25 years.

In a statement obtained by Fox News Digital, Juda Engelmayer, a spokesperson for Weinstein, said, “This trial was fair until we got to the jury deliberations. More than one juror had complained that other jurors had preconceived notions and are using their beliefs of Harvey’s life as evidence of guilt. The Foreman said he was threatened by other jurors.””We believe there are serious appellate issues and they will be explored.”

Weinstein was convicted of sexual assault and rape in 2020 during the height of the #MeToo movement.

Harvey Weinstein was found guilty of rape in a Los Angeles sexual assault trial in 2022. He was also found guilty of rape in Manhattan court in 2020.

In April Weinstein’s 2020 rape conviction was overturned by the New York Appeals Court.

A panel of mostly female judges in New York’s high court overturned the conviction and said the remedy is a new trial.
