Nebraska Volleyball’s Maisie Boesiger reacts as her sister Malorie wins main honor

Veteran Nebraska Volleyball player Maisie Boesiger is ecstatic about her sister Malorie’s latest achievements. The Norris player recently won the Class B Player of the Year Award for her achievements at the State Championships.

The Norris team shared the information about Malorie Boesiger’s achievements on their Instagram page. Boesiger represents the team as a setter.

Maisie Boesiger congratulated her sister for her incredible achievements by sharing the news on her Instagram profile. She wrote in the caption of her Instagram story,

Boesiger previously congratulated her sister for winning the state championships. The Nebraska Volleyball player shared glimpses from the same on her Instagram profile. She wrote in the caption of her Instagram post,

“Little sis is a state champ❤️❤️Such a fun season getting to watch you ball out miss mal! I am beyond proud of you and I will always be your biggest fan! Also huge shoutout to my Nebraska teammates for coming to cheer her on❤️”

Maisie Boesiger plays for the Nebraska Volleyball as a Libero. Boesiger had joined the Nebraska Volleyball team in the 2022 season as a freshman. She has been a part of the Nebraska team that qualified for the finals of the 2023 NCAA Championships and the semifinals of the 2024 NCAA Championships, respectively.

Maisie Boesiger once revealed the favorite thing about Nebraska Volleyball fans. The senior libero mentioned in an interaction with the 1890 Nebraska Channel around September 2025 as she said,

“They show up every single day without fail, like packing Memorial Stadium, 92,000 fans. That was my sophomore year, and I still cannot believe that happened. It almost feels like a movie when you see anything about it, or see the pictures or the videos. I cannot believe that Husker Nation seriously packed 90,000 people in Memorial Stadium for us.” [01:24 onwards]

Maisie Boesiger referred to the record-breaking attendance by Nebraska Volleyball fans on the occasion of Volleyball Day in Nebraska in 2023. More than 92000 fans watched the Nebraska Cornhuskers outsmart the Omaha Mavericks by 3-0. The previous record was held by FC Barcelona, which hosted 91648 fans for the match between Barcelona and Wolfsburg.

Maisie Boesiger will be seen next in action on November 20, when the Nebraska Cornhuskers compete against the Iowa Hawkeyes at the Bob Devaney Sports Center.
