The New Orleans Saints announced they’ll wear their 1967-68 throwback uniforms during Thursday night’s matchup with the Denver Broncos, which kicks off at 8:15 p.m. ET on Amazon Prime.

This marks the third consecutive season the Saints will wear the throwback uniforms, which feature a simplified fleur-de-lis logo on the helmets, black jerseys with old gold numbers and traditional stripes on the sleeves, old gold pants and socks that match the sleeves.

The uniforms are only slightly different than what New Orleans wore at home during its first two seasons as a franchise, as they feature the Saints’ standard gold helmets instead of an old gold lid since they chose to introduce a black alternate helmet as their second option in 2022.

New Orleans is 7-1 in the throwback uniforms, including wins over the Tampa Buccaneers and New York Giants in 1994, Buccaneers in 2002, Buccaneers and Houston Texans in 2011, Los Angeles Rams in 2022 and Carolina Panthers in 2023. The lone loss came to the Detroit Lions in 2016.

The Saints wore their Color Rush uniforms – which are based upon their road look during the 1967-68 seasons but are paired with the aforementioned black helmets – in a loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Oct. 7, leaving one additional open date for their Color Rush or throwback design this season.

The Broncos, meanwhile, will counter with blue helmets, white jerseys and white pants on Thursday night. They are 1-1 in their new white jerseys and white pants this season, including a loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Sept. 8 and win over the New York Jets on Sept. 29.
