NFL followers react as Josh Allen and MLB star Paul Skenes swap jerseys

Paul Skenes was present at the Buffalo Bills’ practice facility on Saturday, where he met with quarterback Josh Allen. The Pittsburgh Pirates star pitcher visited the ADPRO Sports Training Center in Orchard Park, New York, alongside his celebrity girlfriend, Livvy Dunne.

Skenes and Dunne were not alone on their Buffalo getaway this weekend. They were joined on the trip by Skenes’ Pirates teammate Jared Jones and his wife, Rylien. They popped up alongside the star couple in photos shared on Dunne’s Instagram Story on Saturday.

The visit by the two MLB stars and their partners comes as Josh Allen and the Bills gear up to face the New York Jets in what could be the last game ever played in the current Highmark Stadium. There’s no confirmation yet on whether the group will be in attendance on Sunday evening.

Nonetheless, they shared a couple of photos together at the Bills facility. One of the pictures showed Allen and Skenes swapping jerseys of their respective team as they posed for a shot. The uncanny resemblance of the two has been widely discussed over the last couple of weeks.

Rob Gronkowski expresses no fear of Josh Allen in the playoffs

The Buffalo Bills are unquestionably a dangerous playoff opponent with Josh Allen under center. Yet Rob Gronkowski surprisingly labeled them the easiest matchup for the New England Patriots among potential postseason foes when pressed about it on the “Up & Adam” show.

“Josh Allen is the scariest part of the Buffalo Bills and Josh Allen will always be scary as a player, no matter what, until he’s not scary anymore,” Gronkowski said. “But it’s the team of the Buffalo Bills. You can run on them. They don’t really have the weapons for Josh Allen to pass to.

“If you can contain Josh Allen and not let him get out of the pocket, not let him run, not let him do his heroic stunts out there, where all of a sudden you’re like, ‘Wow, how do you do that?’ And then they’re back in the game. If you can just not let Josh Allen do what he does, you have a spot on him.”

Allen has shredded the Patriots’ defense in their two meetings this season, going 41-of-59 for 446 yards, five touchdowns, and just one interception, while taking three sacks. The two meetings, however, ended with each team securing a road victory.
