NFL followers react as Saquon Barkley claims ‘feeling bizarre’ with struggling Eagles offense

Saquon Barkley failed to reach the end zone for the fourth straight game as the Philadelphia Eagles fell to the Chicago Bears in Black Friday game at Lincoln Financial Field. The running back addressed the media following the loss and opened up about his struggles.

“This game was weird. It was different. It felt weird out there.” Barkley said. “For me, running the ball, you’ll have a 5 yard run and then a negative run, a penalty.. I think that was more of the thing. It wasn’t guys not playing hard, it was little things like that.”

Fans flocked to the comment section to share their reaction to the Eagles’ RB’s statement.

“They need to give more touches to Bigsby. And where’s AJ Dillon? No 2000 yard rusher has ever been good the following year. Saquon needs a break,” another fan said.

“He had less than 16 carries. That’s what he’s talking about. And he’s right. It’s weird,” a fan said.

More joined in to criticize Saquon Barkley and the Eagles.

“He didnt turn around for a ball , he fumbled last week. This whole season has been weird for u homie. Somebody ask him why Tank Bigsby cant get half of his carries,” one fan said.

“Saquon is weird. Dude isn’t focused at all out there,” another fan said.

“This is seemingly a common saying amongst the eagles locker room this year. I think they were told what to say in losses. What other locker room says that after a loss? What was weird about it?” a fan said.

Saquon Barkley recorded 13 carries for 56 yards in the 24-15 loss to the Bears. The Eagles managed only 87 rushing yards on Friday, while the Bears dominated them for 281 on the ground. Quarterback Jalen Hurts and the passing attack have been criticized for being predictable this season. Philadelphia is now 8-4 this season, and the No. 1 seed seems to be slipping away.

Saquon Barkley on Eagles’ offensive issues

Saquon Barkley was frustrated with the Eagles’ offense following their 24-15 defeat to the Chicago Bears on Friday. Speaking with NBC’s John Clark after the game, the three-time Pro Bowler admitted that the team’s offensive issues are becoming a serious concern.

The Eagles’ running back said the group needs to come together and focus. He pointed out that he had a drop today, which is a sign of a lack of focus. Barkley urged the team to get better and figure out their problems as soon as possible.
