Josh Allen’s Buffalo Bills lost 33-30 in overtime to the Denver Broncos in the AFC Divisional Round on January 17 with a dramatic finish that included a controversial interception and a game‑winning field goal.

Bills lost in the playoffs and this is the fifth year in a row they were knocked out in the divisional round.
Quarterback Bo Nix played really well under playoff pressure. Because of that, the Broncos are going to the AFC Championship Game for the first time since their Super Bowl 50 season.
The Kansas City Chiefs are also done for the 2026 playoffs just like the Bills. The Chiefs finished the season with a 6-11 record.
It was their worst year since Patrick Mahomes became the starting quarterback.
They did not even make the playoffs, ending a long streak of postseason trips that started in 2014.
Lamar Jackson’s team trolls Josh Allen after Bills’ playoff run ends vs. Broncos
In Buffalo’s overtime loss to Broncos, Josh Allen delivered big numbers but was undone by mistakes.
He completed 25 of 39 passes for 283 yards and threw three touchdown passes. He also ran the ball 12 times for 66 yards.
But Allen also accounted for errors.
He threw two interceptions and lost two fumbles. That means he gave the ball away four times, which hurt the Bills a lot and helped them lose the game.
Following which, Lamar Jackson’s camp seemed to make a small joke about Josh Allen after the Bills lost to the Denver Broncos.

The Baltimore Ravens were eliminated from playoff contention after their 26–24 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Jan. 4.
