An NHL analyst has shared his opinion on Aaron Rodgers’ controversial take on Tony Fauci. Recently, Rodgers appeared on The Pat McAfee Show. When McAfee asked Rodgers for an insight into his mindset as he approaches his final season, Rodgers said he is going to plead the Fifth like Fauci.
Furthermore, Rodgers called Fauci an “absolute coward.” While it did not take long for Rodgers’ controversial take to get viral, an NHL analyst shared his take on this segment. On X, a user named Isaac Streeter quote-tweeted Rodgers’ comments and wrote, “A lot of good journalists lost their jobs to make this show happen btw.”
National Hockey League analyst Josh Yohe commented under Streeter’s tweet and wrote:
“Regardless of how you feel about Pat or Rodgers, this is compelling television that a lot of people are talking about. And those are things that can rarely be said about ESPN these days.”

Aaron Rodgers’ comments come after Tony Fauci invoked his Fifth Amendment right over 100 times during a Senate hearing. Fauci received plenty of criticism not only from Rodgers, but also many people across the United States of America. People did not hesitate to share their opinions about Fauci on social media as well.
NHL analyst Josh Yohe also opened up on whether Leo Carlsson’s offersheet influenced Macklin Celebrini’s extension
During the ongoing offseason, the Philadelphia Flyers presented Leo Carlsson with a historic 5-year, $90 million offer sheet. While the Anaheim Ducks matched the offer and Carlsson became the highest-paid NHL star, his position at the top did not last long.
The San Jose Sharks announced that Macklin Celebrini agreed to an extension. Celebrini signed a 5 year contract, with an average annual value of $18.8 million. This makes Celebrini the highest-paid player in the NHL.
While many believed the Flyers’ offer sheet influenced Celebrini’s extension, Josh Yohe did not agree with the take. On X, Yohe wrote:
“The Flyers certainly made a few players around the league even wealthier than they would have been. That said, I think this is a fair deal for both sides. At some point during that contract, he will be the NHL’s best player.”
While Celebrini might be young, his performances in the last two seasons have been unmatched. For example, in the 2025-26 season, Celebrini recorded 115 points (45 goals, 75 assists) in 82 games.
