“No one in the company has been calling me back”

Kevin Owens has been on hiatus since the days before WWE WrestleMania 41 due to a neck injury, when he was all set to face Randy Orton in a grudge match. Hence, the company pulled their match off the card, and The Viper faced Joe Hendry at the Granddaddy of Them All.

The injury was later detected as serious, and KO underwent successful neck fusion surgery in July last year. Since then, he has been on the road to rehabilitation, and fans are eagerly waiting for him to make a return, as it’s been a long time since he has been in action in the Stamford-based promotion.

Recently, Kevin Owens made a surprise appearance in Kit Wilson’s new social media show “Is It Toxic?”, where, behind a comedic segment, the Prizefighter revealed that his WWE future is still uncertain as he hadn’t heard from the company since being sidelined.

Here’s what he said:

“The point is, I’ve asked you to be quiet. You know what I’m trying to do right now? I’m under a lot of stress, okay? No one in the company has been calling me back. So I’m trying to prepare for the future because I don’t know what this place holds for me. So I’m trying to figure out these kitchen tiles. I think maybe I have a future as an interior decorator. I need to focus. I’ve never done this before. So please, just respect the one thing I ask you: just don’t be loud,” Owens said. (H/T: Ringside.com)

Kevin Owens’ emotional reaction to Sami Zayn’s WWE title win

Sami Zayn captured the Undisputed WWE Championship at Night of Champions 2026, pulling off a massive upset by beating Cody Rhodes and Gunther.

It was indeed an emotional moment for the Honorary Uce and his friends, family, and fans alike. Kevin Owens is one of those who had been close to Zayn for years, and the two had seen each other evolve as professional wrestlers.

Following Sami’s win, the Prizefighter took to his official X/Twitter account to send an emotional message to his best friend about winning the world title.

“I’ve missed a lot of things I wish I hadn’t in the last 15 months because of this injury but today is, by far, the one I wish I had been there for the most. He has brought out the best in me as both an ally and a foe. That’s because he is THE best. When you’re consistently that good for that long, you become undeniable. Sami becoming WWE Champion was inevitable. He has deserved that moment for a very long time and I am so happy to see him finally get it,” he wrote.
