How to play the Coal Lump’s Treasure event in NTE?
The Coal Lump’s Treasure is a tower defense mode where you will need to kill enemies as they spawn in hordes and try to attack the central structure. You will be able to obtain various buffs, making you stronger.
Enemies will come in waves and will drop coins when you defeat them. You can use this currency to spin the various vending machines around the arena. These machines drop Candy, a special item that will provide various buffs to you and debuffs to enemies.
You will gain points depending on how many waves you clear and how long you stay in the game mode. These points will be converted to a currency in NTE called Prism Drop. You can exchange these in the event shop to unlock rewards such as Annuliths and Fons.
All Candies and their effects
Here is a list of all the Candies that you can get from the vending machines in the event:
- Sparkle Pops: Increases all allies’ DMG by 30% for 10s.
- Puka Chocoa: Immediately restores the active character’s Ultimate Energy to full and resets their Ultimate’s cooldown.
- Floaty Bubblegum: Increases all allies’ Movement Speed by 30% for 25s.
- Cloudfluff Cotton Candy: Summons Fluffs next to the character. Fluffs have their own HP and draw aggro from nearby enemies.
- Frostmint Candy: Inflicts Stasis on all enemies on the field for 10s.
- Lava Burst Candy: Deals fixed DMG equal to 2.5% of their Max HP to all enemies on the field every second for 10 seconds.
- Chewy Toffee: Reduces all enemies’ Movement Speed by 20% for 20s.
- Brittle Bites: Immediately reduces all enemies’ Break by 80% of their Break cap.
- Juicy Gummies: Restores all allies’ HP by 25% of their Max HP.
