Former ONE world title challenger George Jarvis of England has never lacked for belief. The only thing separating him from the wider recognition he feels he deserves is one performance the whole world can see.
‘G-Unit’ faces Thai veteran ‘Legatron’ Rungrawee Sitsongpeenong in the main event of ONE Fight Night 44 on Friday, June 27, at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok.
It’s a rematch of their 2024 encounter, where Jarvis secured his six-figure contract with a resounding third-round knockout.
The 25-year-old Crawley native carries a 28-5 record into the headliner. He beat another former world title challenger, Sinsamut ‘Aquaman’ Klinmee, by unanimous decision at ONE Fight Night 41 in March.

Yet questions have lingered about whether Jarvis belongs at the very top of the division, particularly after his first-round knockout loss to two-sport ONE world champion Regian ‘The Immortal’ Eersel at ONE Fight Night 34 last August.
While Jarvis understands there are still areas for improvement in his game, he insists that the loss has made him a better striker overall.
“Everyone around me personally knows I’m on that level, and I just need to prove that to the rest of the people now,” he told ONE Championship in his pre-event interview.

George Jarvis believes his tireless output and relentless pressure broke down Rungrawee in their first meeting.
‘G-Unit’ plans to bring the same intensity in the rematch and get his hand raised even more convincingly.
“My work rate, my fitness, I don’t get tired. Sinsamut couldn’t keep up. Rungrawee couldn’t keep up. Mouhcine Chafi couldn’t keep up. So, yeah, I’m just gonna use that to my advantage. As soon as that bell goes, I’ll be in his face, and we’ll see if he can last,” he told ONE in the same interview.
