One of probably the most intense Muay Thai WARS in Gingsanglek vs. Suriyanlek at ONE Friday Fights 137

Gingsanglek Wor Kumchamnarn and Suriyanlek Por Yenying went the distance in flyweight Muay Thai action at ONE Friday Fights 137 inside Bangkok’s legendary Lumpinee Stadium on Dec. 19. But make no mistake, their three-round scrap was a proper belter.

The two Thais crossed paths for the second time in their career – the first under the ONE Championship banner – on the organization’s final fight card of 2025.

Suriyanlek had registered a win over the PK Saenchai Muaythaigym warrior in 2019, and he was eager to move 2-0 against the 24-year-old who headed into the showdown on a run of two successive knockout triumphs.

While his usual ultra-aggressive approach did initially work, Gingsanglek found a way to time his shots and dissect his foe’s defense. From there, the latter fired on all cylinders to cancel Suriyanlek’s power and aggression.

A counter left elbow in the opening stanza stunned his fellow Thai. Suriyanlek continued to press for a big moment of his own, but he walked himself into another elbow that earned Gingsanglek a knockdown in Round 2.

Down but not out, Suriyanlek kept attacking his dance partner with everything out of his ‘Art of Eight Limbs’ arsenal. However, the PK Saenchai striker had his number for most of the exchanges en route to a deserving unanimous decision win at ONE Friday Fights 137.

Gingsanglek could be one to watch in 2026

Having completed his redemption arc over Suriyanlek in a rematch that was six years in the making, Gingsanglek improved to 45-12 overall in his career.

More importantly, it gave the Thai bruiser his third straight win of the year, after earlier triumphs over Russian fighter Alexey Balyko and Myanmarese talent Thant Zin.

His calculated yet explosive style has been a joy to watch thus far, and if he can produce more performances like that inside the Mecca of Muay Thai in 2026, he could well be on his way to a US$100,000 contract and a spot on the main roster.
