The Overwatch Champions Series 2025 World Finals got started Wednesday in Stockholm.

Twelve teams are competing for a crowd-funded prize pool at the double-elimination Overwatch 2 event.

The action began with four best-of-three Round 1 matches in the upper bracket.

Al Qadsiah recorded the day’s only sweep against Geekay Esports, winning 2-0 on Nepal and 3-2 on Shambali Monastery.

Spacestation Gaming defeated Team Peps, T1 beat Team CC, and Team Falcons beat VARREL, all by 2-1 scores.

Spacestation sandwiched a 2-0 win on Ilios and a 3-1 win on Route 66 around a 3-0 loss on New Junk City.

T1 opened with a 2-1 win on Nepal and closed with a 3-1 win on New Junk City after a 1-0 loss on Midtown.

Falcons sandwiched a 2-0 win on Ilios and a victory on Runasapi around a 2-1 loss on Shambali Monastery.

The best-of-five grand final takes place on Sunday.

Action continues Thursday with four upper-bracket quarterfinals:

–Weibo Gaming vs. Al Qadsiah
