Paige Bueckers and Angel Reese brought entertainment to Madison Square Garden on Sunday. The WNBA stars share a great off-court chemistry, and it was on full display during their courtside banter when Bueckers checked Reese about her height claim.
Reese went live on TikTok with Bueckers during the New York Knicks vs. the Orlando Magic game. In a video that surfaced on social media, Reese asked fans to guess the Dallas Wings star’s height.
“Don’t say anything in the fives. Like, I know five is our number,” Bueckers interrupted.
“Wait, are you not like 5’11”? 5’10”?” Reese said in the follow-up, drawing an animated “No” from Bueckers.
Reese then asked Bueckers to stand up alongside her.
“You guys, look how short Paige is!” Reese said.
When Reese tried to show the big height difference between her and Bueckers, the Wings star jokingly checked the Chicago Sky star.
“Mind you, she has like six-inch heels on!” Bueckers said about Reese.
Reese responded: “No I don’t.”
Paige Bueckers is registered at six feet tall, and Angel Reese at 6-foot-3-inch.
